SPECIAL COMMISSIONS FOR: THE SHELBORNE BY PROPER
/For the grand re-opening of The Shelborne by Proper on South Beach, I was commissioned to create original works for each of the 13 Townhouse Suites. Made as a series and named after their locations like “Swan Key,” “Broad Creek,” “Soldier Key,” and “Islandia,” each unique weaving is inspired by maps of the ocean floor of Biscayne Bay. Their colors are drawn from the sandy shallows and crystal clear tropical waters you can see from the balcony views at the Shelborne.
